The Green Mortician

The Green Mortician is a warm, compassionate and meaningful end-of-life service for pets. With sustainability in mind, TGM is a safe and eco-friendly alternative to flame cremation and burial, it strives to innovate products and services to promote water cremation, in hopes of providing gentle care right to the end.

This was an interesting brief, as I was challenged to rethink the future of the funeral parlour where people couldn’t say no. My goal was to make them accessible, contemporary, and less of a scary prospect. Through research and discussion, as well as understanding how the industry operates, I managed to make what is inevitably a difficult time somewhat easier through my designs, with greater possibility for a more personalised experience.

 

UI KIT

Developed an effective design system that represents the brand with simple visual elements, and only applied ’Forest Green’, the brand color of TGM, simultaneously conveying information to touch points used by users.
